so yeah I had a really great weekend .. but I guess I'm to lazy to write stuff.. I'll just post pictures and give captions haha!

first stop on thursday was pajamas party @ Aisha's crib



yeah we put on some of this Indo masker in the middle of the night.. and yeah it works! my face was all bright and soft.. for like a few hours. buahaha!

and on friday..
I guess I forgot about friday..

saturday was 80 Degrees .. madness!!
and we went to Omar's first movie premiere..Satu Rumpun
Omar is Aisha's brother btw..

and yeah, we went to chinatown to have a late lunch and since it was so HOT outside we had some ice cream from the chinatown icecream factory, nyom nyom!


red velvet cake and taro ice cream.


red velvet was ok until it touchess the cake part, you see that red crumbs.. yeah that's the cake part, it was too dry, I think they didn't really master it! however, the taro was yummy, almond cookie that Aisha's had was also almond-y and cookie-y.. LOL!

that's all folks, I'm too lazy today.. I didn't even do my laundry or clean up my messy messy room..huff! enjoy your weekdays guys!

lazy chamiii

hellow...fellow bloggers and readers, I haven't been able to write down my thoughts, coz I think I have lost the ability to write.. nyiahaha! an ESL student might even write way WAY better than me.. I don't know.. I think it's because I'm not satisfied with the spring break that FIT gave me. So the whole time I was on my little break, I bummed around like a fat kid couch potato-ing while guzzling a cake with its frosting glued all over her mouth.
yeah ain't that a mouthful of description rite?

anyways... I really feel like a day doesn't consist of 24 hours any more... i dont know, it does sounded a little stupid, or maybe, it's like an hour is more or less 45 to 50 minutes. ah! whatever, I guess the world is about to end real soon. which meaaaaanssss??? we have to enjoy life yes? no? maybe? i don't think so?

and my definition of enjoying life would be...trying all kinds of cuisine from around the globe!! no matter how much it would cost (yeah right)..and maybe a little shopping here and there . LOL!! speaking of that, don't you guys think that I'm weird by choosing to spend more of my money to eat out rather than spending it on fashion?.. when my school is famous for it's fashion major and even from the name itself, it definitely says FASHION INSTITUTE??.. hmm..

oh and one more thing.. for this week and the upcoming week, I think I wouldn't be dining out as much as I used to be, I just realized that I seriously don't have any savings right now! and it is sooo unlike mischa sitompul.. coz she's very very careful with her money, but mygoodness.. what am I supposed to do? I freakin' live in NYC, the melting pot! food from across the world are here waiting me to gobble and savor every bite of deliciousness, and they can't wait to be photograph and be my food porn models.. ohh .. sweet lord! why..why!!?? why can I just be normal and have a normal appetite like other girls who only eats a quarter of their plate. =( Madness I tell you...

have you ever wonder, what was the particular thing that people were thinking a few seconds before the angel of death took their lifes??

were they smiling.. were they thinking.. were they in anger.. were they in sadness..??
were they in silent.. or were they whispered by something alarming them they are almost at the end ot their journey?..

Ohmygoodness..
I can't believe I ended my first week of April feeling sorrow, unpleasant, worrisome, and puzzled by the nature's own recycle bin.. I started my Monday/ Official Spring Break by doing this gloomy post, it's just unlike me..

it took me a while to absorb and believe that things always comes to an end with or without a precaution ..

sometimes I feel that God is unfair .. God is testing us with unbearable situation ..and that God just doesn't want us to be happy.. and life is just a chain of trial and examination..
but then I think again.. maybe it happens for a reason?.. or maybe it's the path for a person to reach the enlightenment?.. or is it supposed to be a practice for us to be stronger?
I just dont know .. I always have mixed feelings with these kind of stuff.

The thing is.. I'm always confused when God takes a person's life.. does she/he has some kind of a lottery slot that she/he just picked every minute or two? or does she/he looks by a person's level of good&bad.. o what?.. or does everyone have their own "times up"??.. seriously .. I need answers, coz I just don't get it..

I mean, someone is somewhere, doing something at some moment of their life.. thinking that ahead there's gonna be a good future with some bumpy roads but they might say "hey...I'll get there.."and next thing you know.. boom! their life ended and it becomes a silent shout of nothingness..

anyway..

spring breaaaaak

not that I have a great plan for this spring break.. but a week break is really really what Mischa needs right now..

yeepee.. I have time to write my blog now! btw, I just got back from the longest midterm ever, and I didn't have my lucky pencil with me, I ended up with a ridiculous pen that gives me pain and suffering thru out the exam. if you ask me if I did great or not... the anwers is NO! I went down hill from #4 thru #10.. so yeah! we'll see what would happen next next week..

ok! my plan tonight is to finish all my food-porn, get AFK (away from keyboard), and watch DVD's 'til God knows when.. hohoho! and all of these will be done without any consumption of chips, ice cream, nuts, and any snacks around my pantry. I'm closing my mouth 'til tomorrow. lets hope that I'm not gonna be hungry after revealing the foods I've consumed these past few days. =)

first stop is Momofuku Milk Bar. the Saung Budaya Girls and I went to this spot for a little snack before our late lunch/early dinner at Curly's. wait.. this is like two weeks ago but anyways, you gotta see how delightful that day turned out to be.

so, Saung Budaya Girls has this urgency of eating total carb, comfort, and hearty food after they (or should I say) we burned all the calories from dance practice. We were like little kids lining up for cotton candys, but instead we lined up for cookies, soft ice creams, and fusion breads (don't kids do this too?).
Aisha (my sister) bought compost cookie, marshmallow cookie, and dunno what else.
Malaika was busy testing the soft ice cream, and she decided on 'fruity cereals with milk soft ice cream' (I forgot the name.. it taste like fruity loops)
Wynna had the cookies as well
and as for me!! I had the amazing -kimchi & blue chees croissant- made out of kimchi butter and gorgonzola dolce. If you guys dunno what the hell I'm talking about?.. here's the croissant-porn




at first all of the girls were like.."what? what would it taste like.. doesn't sound interesting to me.. etc..etc.." and when I break it in two they were still like "nothing special about it..etc..etc"

however!! when they ripped it apart, bite it and started chewing it...!!
(and btw, it was still warm and you could see the cheese and butter oozing from inside)
they were speechless..overwhelmed..we didn't speak for like around 5-10 seconds (FYI, this is a record coz we girls like to chat A LOT)

the kimchi was perfect, the saltyness of the cheese go hand in hand with the kimchi butter, the crispyness of the skin and the softness of the innards.. it's just well executed! good job Momofuku Milk bar.
ohh.. how I wanted another one of this sexy expensive little croissant.. but yeah, maybe another day, I have to spare my tummy for Curly's foods!!

I think I'm too lazy to write down the description of how crazy these girls are.. but just take a look at what these petite girls have ordered at Curly's Vegetarian Lunch


first it was empty.. we were playing with crayolas while waiting for our food to come.



and then .. few minutes after!!



yes! you see what I'm talking about right?.. they turn into a bunch of crazy carnivorous and herbivorous and they don't even think about how lady like they supposed to act as a dancer. hahaha!! (btw.. bad picture.. I was caught up by the vegan pancake and the red chilaquiles in front of me)

we ended up doggy-bagging 3 stacks of pancake and half of Aisha's burrito.. and the rest was history.. oh the funny thing was.. they served bbq tempeh, which reminds me of how much I'm longing for 'tempe mendoan'.. a staple snack from my country and it's the unhealthy version of that bbq tempe hoho! (I'll give you pics after I'm back in Indonesia)



those two thingy are the Gravy Fries and Buffalo Fries ( fries drizzled in blue cheese dressing and buffalo sauce) Junk Food Madnessss!!

Ok, I'm gonna end my blog here.. I wanna start a new post, this is getting too long. Hope you guys had fun reading it. =)
